Pastor Jeffrey Alan Norman

Pastor Norman accepted his call to the preaching ministry in 2008 and preached his first sermon on the 2nd Sunday in October at the Bexar Street Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Dr. C.C. Robertson. The title of his first sermon was, “Blessings That the Soul Forgets” based on Psalm 103.

Pastor Norman accepted the call to Macedonia Baptist Church in August of 2010 where he served faithfully for 9 years. Pastor Norman began to serve the Greater South Central Baptist Church on the 2nd Sunday in November 2019.

 Pastor Norman attributes much of what he has accomplished to the great mentorship he received from the men and women of the Bexar Street Baptist Church as well as the spiritual growth he experienced at the First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park.

Pastor Norman believes that preaching must be plain, passionate, and powerful in order to be effective. He is a firm believer that if one sets the pulpit on fire, you need not worry, people will come to see it burn.
